The structure of impact crusher
An impact crusher is mainly composed of rotors, hammer plates, impact plate and engine body, etc., parts. The rotor is fastened to the main shaft. There are 4 impact plates (or several impact plates (hammer plates)) installed on the cylindrical rotors. Impact plates and rotors present rigid coupling, while impact plates are fabricated by wearable high manganese steels) or other alloy steels). According to the different number of rotors, an impact crusher can be divided two kinds: the impact rotor with single rotor and impact crusher with double rotors.
An impact crusher is a crusher that crushes materials by using impact energy. When the machine works, under the driving of a motor, rotors rotate with high speed. When materials enter into the active region of hammer plates, materials are impacted with hammer plates on rotors and are crushed. Then materials are thrown to the impact device and are crushed again, rebounding to the active region of hammer plates from impact plates to be crushed again. Such the process is repeated. Materials are crushed by entering into first, second and third impact cavities from big to small until materials are crushed to the grain size required and are discharged from a discharge hole. Adjusting gaps between the impact support and rotors can reach the purpose of changing the discharge size and shape of materials.
